This engaging session will offer insight, reflection, and a closer understanding of how spirituality and mediumship work hand in hand.\nLeonard Young’s Bio\nWith decades of experience in Spiritualism, theology, and teaching, I have dedicated my life to serving as a speaker, tutor, minister, and mentor. I first entered the Spiritualist movement at the age of thirteen and, following a formative period of monastic life and a professional career in catering, returned to my spiritual calling with renewed purpose and commitment.\nIn the 1970s, I had the privilege of being mentored by the internationally renowned Ron J. Baker, and later by Gordon Higginson, both of whom played a profound role in shaping my development as a lecturer, speaker, and demonstrator. In the early 1980s, I furthered my studies at the Proudfoot School of Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, and Psychotherapy, where I earned several diplomas under the guidance of distinguished teachers, including Gil Boyne, Ormond McGill, and Wilf Proudfoot.\nMy academic and professional qualifications include serving as a Minister of the SNU and holding both a diploma and certificate as a speaker and demonstrator. I also hold a degree in Theology from the University of Liverpool and a Master’s degree in Theology and Pastoral Studies from Leeds University.\nOver the years, I have held a number of senior leadership positions within the Spiritualist movement, including Vice-President of the SNU, Chairman of the SNU Publications Committee, President of the Manchester District Council, and President of the Manchester Pioneer Centre. In 1996, I co-founded the Journey Within School alongside Pastor Janet Nohavec.\nI have worked and demonstrated alongside many respected figures in the field, including Ron Baker, Gordon Higginson, Coral Polge, Albert Best, and Mary Duffy. I also devoted more than twenty years to Arthur Findlay College at Stansted Hall, where I served as both Tutor and Course Organiser until 2002. My teaching and lecture work has taken me throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, the United States, and Canada.\nThroughout my career, I have taught and mentored many students who have gone on to make significant contributions to the field, both in the United Kingdom and internationally. Today, I am honoured to serve as Principal of the Mercurial School of Mediumship, Hypnosis, and Hypnotherapy, where I continue to offer workshops, lectures, and training grounded in many years of study, service, and practical experienc\n
