Lionel Owen – The Sacred Flame

The class will explore how mediums and potential mediums should use their inner light and its link to God in order to become better platform mediums, give deeper sermons and say prayers that will ensure services are more spiritual and demonstrations more evidential. Guidance will be given on how to present Spiritualism in a clearer and more interesting way to those new to the religion.

As third generation British Spiritualist, Lionel is a trance medium, clairvoyant, teacher, speaker and demonstrator. He holds the Teaching Diploma of the Spiritualists’ National Union (SNU) in Britain and was a Tutor and Course Organizer at The Arthur Findlay College, Stansted Hall, (known as the University of Spiritualism) for several years. In 2018 he was presented by the SNU with The Award of Merit for services to Spiritualism worldwide.

Lionel was President of The International Spiritualist Federation for nine years from 1993, he has taught and demonstrated all over the world. He is the author of three books, “The Gift,” “Please God Why?” and “The Keepsake.” His articles have appeared in Psychic News and the National Spiritualist Summit.

Lionel has taught and demonstrated in many different countries and is now living mostly in South Africa.
